“O God, in all the confusion and complexity of this troubled life, fill me more and more with a guiding sense of your will and purpose. I am not wise enough, nor do I possess sufficient understanding to walk in the way of Christ unless by your word and Spirit you lead me. In everything, enable me to bear the good fruit that you delight in so that I may be a channel of your new life in this world of death and despair; through Christ the Lord. Amen.” (in light of Colossians 1:9-10)
