Quote of Note #262: Supplying our Neighbor’s Need

“How we live out our faith, demonstrating the love of God when we see our neighbors in need, bears witness to the world that God’s love has transformed us into new creations. Furthermore, our ability to connect the excess in our lives to the lack in our neighbors’ lives attests to our new life in Christ. Our faith therefore informs how we see and respond to the brokenness around us. It informs our response to the needs of the least of these, especially those disenfranchised by imperial oppression.”
