What are we to say in the face of the brokenness and evil and suffering of our lives? What does God say? No, actually, what does he do? Look at the body of Jesus. He sends his Son to take up our brokenness and suffering upon himself — his Passion, Crucifixion, and Death — and to defeat it, redeem it, and heal it — his Resurrection of the Body of Jesus.
