“So, without love, there can be no hearty submission to the will of God, and there can be no real and heartfelt trust and confidence in him.” Jonathan Edwards
In Christ, God has victoriously asserted this redeeming power over the fallen world to set it right, a work into which he calls us to be his partners through empowered, obedient, faithful love.
What is the “world”? Is is good or is it bad? Well, yes, it is. The world is the good creation of God. He has infused the world with his goodness. But look around. It doesn’t look so good now, does it? It is broken and wrecked. Now, God could have decided simply to sweep it all into some cosmic trash bin. But he didn’t do that. Instead, he sets himself to the business of redeeming it, setting it right again. And he makes us part of that work. He’s making everything new.

Beautiful photo from Grace Chorpenning!! Mrs., or a daughter, sorry, nosey. my friend connie in florida we prayed for wednesday, no cardiac issues found from thallium stress test, & she found a good support group for alzheimers caregivers. Now if we could just get the electric bed i bought from Annie out of my garage and in the house before it gets ruined, my prayer list will be cleared…Kidding, of course, the guys at the museum are really not supposed to be doing heavy lifting, everyone I know is old!! oh well, when God wants the bed out of garage, it will be.

Grace is my daughter. The nest was in our shrubs, and she got the picture while she was helping me put up the awnings.

Couldn’t have been better put. We need the love of God to grow in his wisdom. If we do not have that love as explained in 1 Cor. 13:4-8 truly understand redemption and we are unable to pass on that love to others. God bless you for sharing.
