Sermon #19 — Forgiven Forgivers — Matthew 18:21-35 & Colossians 3:12-17

Forgiving is at the very core of the Christian faith.  Apart from the forgiveness of God, there would be not Christian faith.  But, as we see in this parable from Matthew 18, forgiving is not only something that God does.  It is something that Jesus expects to mark the character of his forgiving people.  Here, I continue to dig into the meaning of forgiveness — the act of God and the act of the Christian.  Unfortunately, the previous sermon, which I mention in this sermon, was not recorded.  Still, I think you can follow along with out having heard that sermon.

Striving to nurture a character of forgiveness in our being is, I find, a key lever in moving our lives into a deeper, more wholehearted discipleship.  Come and join me in seeking to more fully live into faithful discipleship to our forgiving Master, Jesus.
