Sermon #11 — The Doctrine of God, Pt. 2: Creator and Maker, Psalm 104

Here I continue to explore the doctrine of God.  Who is God?  What is his nature and character?  In this sermon, I work from Psalm 104 to lay out some of the basic truths about God as Creator and Maker of everything.  There are, as I say often, two kinds of things in the world: God and that which God has made.  Those two categories cover all that exists.  Have a listen.

  1. Incredible, intelligent, benevolent design. Lilacs are a “very good” and pleasurable gift. They are both pretty and fragrantly sweet. I enjoy sweet wine as well 🙂 Someone asked me the other day, “What brings you joy?” I guess that is a very important thing to think about. There is so much to praise God for. I guess I shall go and find the things that He intends for me to enjoy.

Thank you, Lord, for your beautiful gifts.
